Scar camouflage (Scalp micropigmentation)
Natural scar camouflage through scalp micropigmentation
About the treatment
What does it entail?
Scalp micropigmentation is a non-surgical aesthetic treatment that visually recreates hair follicles through micro-deposits of bioabsorbable pigments implanted in the surface layers of the skin.
The result is completely natural scar camouflage.
Scalp micropigmentation works by creating an optical illusion of hair. It is an immediate, safe, surgery-free solution for radically covering scars on the scalp.
The result lasts between 3 and 8 years, with the option of touch-ups.
It does not alter natural hair growth or damage existing follicles.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- Scars from surgery
- Scars from burns
- Scars from hair transplants
- Scars from wounds
What is the treatment like?
Before starting we carry out a personalised assessment in which we analyse:
- Type of scar
- Skull shape
- Pigment tone
- The aesthetic result you want
The treatment is carried out over 3 spaced sessions, to build the natural effect progressively.
During the session, micro-dots of pigment are implanted with specific equipment, simulating the hair root.
The discomfort is minimal and perfectly tolerable.
No time off work is needed.
